MACFRUT 2021
Get together in Rimini
September 07-09, 2021

Panamanian products present at MACFRUT 2021
After
a season without on-site events, the 2021 edition of MACFRUT, the leading fair
for professionals in the fruit and vegetable sector, is finally here. It will
be held at the Rimini Expo Center (Italy) from September 7 to 9, 2021. The 37th
edition will take place under a hybrid concept, incorporating virtual stands on
a digital platform, while having a general public and bringing together 11
sectors, including: vegetables, production technologies, production, trade
& distribution and nuts.
Panama
for the first time will have the opportunity to place its products in a stand
sponsored by the Authority for the Attraction of Investment and Promotion of
Exports, PROPANAMA, with the aim of promoting the products offered by our
country as exports to international markets. The delegation of Panamanian
producers will be made up of six (6) companies from the agricultural products
sector, who will be physically present and others who will be connected
virtually through the platform.
Including Panama in this type of exposition allows the country to promote itself in a broad way to potential buyers and distributors in the European region. The goal is that this market can appreciate the different fruits and vegetables of high export quality that Panama offers, with products such as: MD2 hybrid pineapple, MD2 pineapple, seedless watermelon, seeded watermelon, Golden melon, pumpkin, fresh cassava in boxes and bananas.
An innovative aspect that Macfrut 2021 will bring is the Italian Retailer Business Lounge, an exclusive area of the fair for large-scale retail and the Italian distribution chain, with the aim of boosting the development of specific meetings between exhibitors and participants, through a program developed in collaboration with Agroter.
MACFRUT is becoming an
increasingly international trade event that offers the opportunity to do
business while showcasing technical expertise, product know-how and excellent
products, making it an outstanding entry point for Panamanian producers into
international markets.
