The 6th National Export Congress "CONEXPORT 2021" is officially launched

In collaboration with the Panamanian Association of Exporters (APEX) and the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI), we proceeded to announce in a small press conference the details of the sixth edition of the National Congress of Exports (Conexport), which will hold awards and conferences on August 18, and a virtual business roundtable from September 14 to 23.

To date, the participation of 15 international buyers from the Caribbean islands, Europe, the United States and Canada has been arranged, informed Eric Dormoi, national director of Export Promotion of the MICI.

This 2021, the MICI provides support in attracting potential international buyers and the call to exporters who wish to participate in the business roundtable, an activity that allows national entrepreneurs to offer their products through appointments, expanding their negotiation and export opportunities, he said.

Roberto Tribaldos, president of APEX, invited exporters to take part in this congress on August 18, at the Sheraton Grand Panama Hotel.

Eduardo Music, president of the Organizing Committee, mentioned that the Exporter of the Year Gala will be held on the same date with 3 categories, followed by a cultural event in celebration of APEX's 50th anniversary.

Conexport is the most important event of foreign trade developed in the country, since it gathers the main actors of the sector producer/exporter of goods and services. During the event, attending businessmen will have the opportunity to detect new business opportunities, discover new products, learn about new market trends and technologies, build customer loyalty, make new contacts and networking.
