Panama & Brasil

July 21, 2021

We received in our offices the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil, H.E. Glivânia Maria de Oliveira, to strengthen cooperation ties and discuss educational issues of interest to both countries.

The Republic of Panama and the Federative Republic of Brazil established diplomatic relations on March 2, 1904 and these relations have been maintained in an atmosphere of friendship and cordiality.

Brazil is the #21 trading partner of 83 countries to which Panama exported goods of its national economy to the I Semester of 2020, representing 0.7% of the total FOB value in US$.

Brazil and Panama have recently been increasing their relations, truly transforming them into a deeper strategic alliance that will bring important benefits to the economy of both regions.
