The Government of Panama represented by the Authority for Investment Attraction and Export Promotion (PROPANAMA) signs a memorandum of cooperation with the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) within the framework of the mission to Peru, to fulfill the objective of improving and strengthening economic relations between Peru and the Republic of Panama.
Panama and Peru should take advantage of their free trade agreement, since based on it and the meetings that will be held, the foundations can be laid to considerably increase bilateral trade.
"The signing of this agreement is the beginning of a relationship between the Lima Chamber of Commerce and PROPANAMA in which cooperation synergies and exchange of information will be found, all for the benefit of the private sectors of our countries, which will lead to improve the flow of information that is needed at this time," were some words of our deputy executive director Diego Ortiz de Zeballos.
One of the essential points of this agreement is to coordinate efforts in order to establish a network of business contacts to facilitate the flow of information on business opportunities.
As well as to promote the reciprocal flow of economic, statistical and regulatory information, especially for the respective business communities. It was also proposed to provide assistance to companies under the terms and conditions to be agreed upon.
