PROPANAMA makes successful tour to the Panama Pacific area

The Panama Pacifico Agency, constituted since 2004 as the Panama Pacifico Special Economic Area, a former US military base, with 1,400 hectares of territory, invited us to participate in a reconnaissance tour so that the investment and export staff of our institution could be updated on the new proposals they have to attract investment to the country.

The visit included a tour that began in the central model of the project in the sales area, where the person in charge of attraction and customer loyalty, Mr. Herman Riveros, explained that Panama Pacifico is an ideal multimodal platform, for its strategic location, direct government support and skilled labour.

By Law 41 of July 20, Panama created the Panama Pacifico Special Economic Area, with the main objective of attracting foreign direct investment and boosting the country's economic development.

PROPANAMA with the objective of expanding its knowledge on: headquarters and services, manufacturing, tax incentives, logistics and distribution, legal stability, labour incentives and the integrated system of single window, with 12 government offices to facilitate time and money to entrepreneurs, received an updated training on issues involving Law 41 of 2004 by the lawyer, Ms. Katya Quintana, of London & Regional Panama.
