Celebrating Black Ethnicity

PROPANAMA wore different attires alluding this celebration.

The Authority for Investment Attraction and Export Promotion (PROPANAMA), celebrated the black ethnicity, with dresses, decorations and allusive food, with the purpose of highlighting the values and contributions given to our Panamanian culture by the Afro-descendants. This activity was organized by the Institution's collaborators.

In Panama, in the year 2000, Law 9 of May 30 was approved, declaring May 30 of each year as Civic and Commemoration Day for the National Black Ethnic Group.

PROPANAMA wore different attires alluding to this celebration, with the participation of its General Administrator, Carmen Gisela Vergara, General Secretary Lourdes Pérez, and management, administrative and general staff.
