PROPANAMA strategic ally of Panamanian producers at Specialty Coffee Expo 2022

The Authority for Investment Attraction and Export Promotion of Panama (PROPANAMA), as a strategic ally, supported the Specialty Coffee Association of Panama (SCAP), in the Business Mission within the framework of "Specialty Coffee Expo 2022", to be held from April 8 to 10, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

The objective of the participation was to promote the high quality of Panamanian coffee through our national producers to the coffee industry in the world; and also to facilitate 18 member companies of the Association (SCAP) to make contact with new and current business partners, making a coffee tasting experience, before the participants of the American market.

 Among the results obtained was the promotion in international markets and the positioning of the PANAMA GEISHA brand. Specialty coffee tastings were exhibited and offered, promoting direct access to potential buyers and industry professionals. In turn, our producers were able to learn and see the most innovative and cutting-edge coffee products in the industry and make purchasing decisions easily from B2B activities.

The Specialty Coffee Expo is the largest event in the United States that brings together participants from all aspects of the coffee industry and coffee market professionals.

The trade show allows for seminar programs, coffee contests, receptions and also learning more about the art of cupping with expert baristas.

The Specialty Coffee Expo was designed to be the one-stop shop for coffee professionals to succeed in the industry.

As the industry standard setter, SCAP has built a solid reputation over the past 30 years by providing the most up-to-date, qualified information and giving our members the tools to succeed.
