Residency & Citizenship by Investment Exhibition 2021

As the Authority for Investment Attraction and Export Promotion, PROPANAMA, we were invited to participate as a country of honor in the prestigious Citizenship Expo Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

During our participation we had a business platform to attract potential investors, which became an excellent opportunity to execute the investment attraction strategy and promote Panama as an ideal destination to settle.

In addition to this, it was emphasized that Panama recently launched the short-stay visa for remote workers and permanent residence as a qualified investor. For this reason another of the main objectives was to make known the offer that our country maintains in residency programs and citizenship by investment and the ways in which they can take advantage of these programs, important approaches with leading companies in the relocation sector and the opening of new markets.

The event was attended by around 300 people of multiple nationalities with more than 24 spaces represented by private enterprise and the government sector interested in opening new markets. The Panamanian delegation was made up of representatives of the National Immigration Service and PROPANAMA. During the course of the fair we were able to make important contacts with leading companies in the sector such as Latitude, APEX Residency Citizenship, among others.

In addition to having a stand, we were able to participate in the governmental panel where we discussed the competitive advantages, migration programs that Panama offers in terms of investment residency and future plans of the country in this sector.
