Exporter of the Year Gala

PROPANAMA made an intervention in CONEXPORT 2021, National Export Congress, in the section of face-to-face workshops, held on August 18, to talk about the new trends in exporting products, how it is affecting the handling of cargo, transportation and logistics as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the new regulations that are being applied, and how we must adapt to achieve compliance with the standards required in the new normality, to allow our exporters to continue sending their products to international markets.

This event is organized jointly with the Panamanian Association of Exporters and the Ministry of Commerce and Industries; for the year 2021 began its agenda in the framework of APEX's 50th anniversary at the Sheraton Grand Panama Hotel.

CONEXPORT is an opportunity to showcase the work done by national exporters and to encourage more companies to internationalize. The business rounds were planned from September 13 to 24 and more than 70 companies have already registered.

The Gala was also held to award the Exporters of the Year, where we were present together with H.E. Ramón Martínez, Minister of Commerce and Industries to present the award to: Productos Lux, S.A., the main natural vinegar processing factory in Central America and the Caribbean. Also receiving awards were: SALVAMAR S.A., exporters and processors of seafood products and Cattan Industries, leading manufacturers of signs, smart awnings, architectural skins, roofing, LED lighting, rental and maintenance.
