Meet your Exporter Program

The National Export Promotion Department of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI) resumed the face-to-face activities of the "Meet your exporter" program, which allows related authorities to assess the needs of the sector, on the occasion of this practice PROPANAMA was invited to participate in these sessions.

This project has visited more than 20 exporting companies and 100 producers nationwide engaged in agricultural, industrial, agro-industrial and fishing activities.

For this occasion our export team visited FAST-TEC Estructuras, S.A., producer of structural steel profiles and Ecotec Panama', producer of insulating construction materials and systems.  Both companies dedicated to the industrial sector, showed us their production process and their intention to expand into international markets. The two companies belong to a single holding, which is located in the Industrial Park of Las Americas and its production covers all types of construction materials, highlighting the thermal insulation walls.

Conoce a tu exportador started in 2019 and continued at a slower pace in 2020, due to the pandemic. However, in this 2021 it resumed its work schedule.
