Panama gifted a book collection to the library "House of Wisdom"

The Panama pavilion gifted Sharjah's "House of Wisdom" library with a collection of more than 50 titles that won the Ricardo Miró literature award, as well as a book on Panamanian specialty coffee and a collection of books on the Panama Canal. Panama.

The Panama pavilion received throughout the 6 months of Expo 2020 Dubai, more than 500 thousand visitors from more than countries.


80% of the visitors were foreigners, so the majority were from different parts of the world.

Panama participation at Annual Investment Meeting

Panama Participation at Global Business Forum LATAM

The general administrator and commissioner of the Panama pavilion, Carmen Gisela Vergara, was the representative of Panama in the Global Business Forum focused on the Latin American region organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.


The forum took place at the Expo 2020 Dubai facilities, in what is the Dubai Exhibition Centre, where important authorities from the entire LATAM market as well as from the United Arab Emirates and the Arabian Gulf region met.

Participation of the Panama Canal in the water week


The Panama Canal, through Mrs. Ilya Espino de Marotta, deputy administrator of the canal, participating in the forum organized by the women's pavilion and the Australian pavilion.

Panama Pavilion receives Indian Business Group


The Panama Pavilion was visited by the Indian Business Group, who, on their tour of the Expo, decided on Panama as a destination to learn more about the business opportunities in Panama.

Panama at Gulfood

The Panama pavilion team joined forces with PROPANAMA for the representation of Panama at Gulfood, the world's largest food and hospitality fair.


Aligned with one of our main objectives, which is to promote exports, PROPANAMA sponsored the participation of Panamanian companies in Gulfood for the first time.The Panama pavilion provided support in the commercial, logistics and administration and entertainment areas with a typical presentation at the opening of the stand.

Panama launches iniciative "Win a trip to Panama" 



The Panama Pavilion launches the "Win a trip to Panama" initiative to encourage the purchase of the Panamanian exportable offer that is for sale in the store and in the pavilion's kiosk. The dynamic consists of making a minimum purchase of 200AED which is equivalent to about 60USD, and in this way visitors could register to participate and win a round trip to Panama from the United Arab Emirates.

The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia designated 2022 as the "Year of Saudi Coffee". Coffee has long been an intrinsic part of Saudi culture, representing values ??such as generosity and hospitality, regularly appearing in songs, poems and paintings.
The Panama Pavilion participated with its specialty coffees such as: Kotowa Coffee Farms, Tezzora Arabica Coffee, Geisha Gold, 2 water brands (Aquacai and Panama Blue) and books on the history of Panamanian specialty coffee, among other products.

Tolerance and Inclusiveness Week 

Among the emblematic events that Panama participated during the thematic week, one of them will be recorded in history: “Te Aratini: Festival of Indigenous and Tribal Ideas”. It is the first indigenous festival in a world exposition and the first indigenous-led global initiative to be used as a commercial platform.

Expo 2020 Dubai Inauguration

One year later than expected, but with higher expectations, the Dubai EXPO opened its doors on October 1. The world's first General Exhibition of more than four square kilometers, where visitors will be able to choose between exhibitions from almost two hundred countries.

Panama is one of the few Latin American countries that has its own exhibition in said event, which will have an exhibition of around six (6) months, sharing space with more than 200 countries.

Panama will take advantage of this space as a platform to offer the attraction of its history, economy, gastronomy, tourism and services to the more than 25 million people who will visit the site.
